    What To Do Next

    What Conversion Optimization Really Means

It may sound complicated but it’s not.

Conversion optimization is the process of turning more of your website visitors into leads and/or sales.

Most property management websites have a conversion optimization problem.

The good news? You don’t always need more traffic. Sometimes you simply need your website to do a better job so visitors become clients.

    Why Your Website Is Underperforming

Homepages with too much information can be tedious to get through.
Most visitors don’t have much time or patience. “Do you serve my type of property? Are we a good fit? How do I get started?” If it can’t answer quickly, they’ll leave.

You don’t need your website to be perfect, just easy to understand.

      • What does your business do?

      • Who are your customers?

      • How should they contact you

      • Clarity Comes First

Your headline must be clear as to what you are offering

Your headline should explain exactly what your company offers. Clear service descriptions matter too. Let them know the type of rentals you manage. Every page should answer the questions they’re thinking.

      Trust Wins Business

Property owners hand over valuable assets. That requires trust. Reviews help. Testimonials help. Real photos help even more.

Show your team. Show real properties. Show actual results whenever possible. Visitors notice authenticity.

      Make Everything Easy

Keep forms short. Ask for information you actually need. Name. Email. Phone. A short message.

Let visitors know when they’ll hear back. A simple, “We’ll respond within one business day.”

      Put Reviews Where They Matter

Potential clients like reading reviews. They should be placed where visitors can easily see them. It boosts the decision to contact you.

      Guide the Visitor’s Eye

Good spacing helps visitors notice what matters. Buttons should stand out. Important information should be easy to locate and read. Remove unnecessary scripts. Compress large images.

      Speed Still Matters

Visitors leave if your website takes too long to load. They’ll move on to the next company. Fast websites hold their attention.

      Personal Story:

When I was 18 I finally learned how to get women interested in me by flirting (conversion). I wasn’t very good at it. I was sometimes a bit “over-the-top” in my efforts, but I kept trying.

Flirting and falling for a gal to many many tries. I look back and I’m a bit embarrassed but I learned. I refined my approaches and learned from rejection

I kept trying and refining my approaches (optimization). My actions eventually led to a relationship that lasted 7 years. (conversion

AI said this: You can never master a hard game if you stay safely on the sidelines. Conversion optimization and life share the exact same truth: you will run plenty of failed tests along the way, but if you keep putting yourself out there and refining your strategy, sometimes you win big.

      Better Conversions Beat More Traffic

I spend a lot of time talking about conversion optimization. Utilizing it can easily double the amount of visitors that sign up. That’s without the need to double the amount that visit.

      Common Mistakes I See

Trying to say everything. Hiding the contact button. Using generic stock photos. Making mobile users pinch, zoom, and squint. Adding too many menu options.

Every one of those mistakes make potential customers go elsewhere.

Website Clarity – Trust – Ease of Use

I keep coming back to the same three ideas. Clarity. Trust. Ease. That’s what conversion optimization is really about.
If your website isn’t generating enough leads, I’d be happy to take a look. Sometimes a handful of small improvements produces big results.

What do Conversion Rate Optimizers actually do?

Are CRO services solely focused on providing suggestions for improving design, content, UX, and conversions, or do they actively assist with implementation as well? For instance, if transitioning from a content writing background to Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), would it be advisable to continue content writing alongside CRO efforts, or should one delegate content tasks to another writer?

CRO myself, been on agency and client side. What we actually do goes like this

Learn about the client, should have a general understanding of how the clients’ business works, including revenue, cost, traffic, cost of traffic, marketing activities and products. eg. We’ve worked with online car showrooms like carwow, who has high inventory to airlines who has high dependancy on ancillaries like seats and meals where they make actual revenue.

Heuristic evaluation / Audits. We conduct audits on the app, websites and come up with a score and insights, findings of areas of improvements, which gets later translated into a sheet where we list out high-impact, low effort and onwards.

The findings later gets translated into testing calendar where we actually test the hypothesis on the website and / or applications against a control group, and the winning scenario goes into development.

We also look at businesses from a consultants / strategist standpoint; improving copy, content, UI quality, UX / User journey i.e. making it less difficult for the users to take most important actions, like reducing number of form fields at a checkout, or mentioning that a buy-now-pay-later option is available at the checkout in the beginning of the user journey; all to improve conversions.
