Your SEO Test Found 47 Website Problems.
Which Ones Matter?
1. Running your website through an SEO checker and the test will show you problems
There might not be 47, but some of them may have a warning symbol, others could be in red. And that’s when you or your SEO person becomes concerned.
Before doing anything, figure out which errors are important to fix.
Just because they appear on an SEO report, they may not have anything to do with your website’s location in the Map Pack.
2. An SEO Tool Can Find Problems. It Can’t Tell You Why Your Competitor Ranks Higher
An SEO test is set up to look for specific things it has been programmed to find. That might include broken links, missing page titles, and images without descriptions.
It’s important to correct these issues but that doesn’t provide an answer as to why a similar business outranks you.
3. Some “Errors” Aren’t Really Errors
There are different SEO tools to choose from. Each report can provide different results. While one may tell you your title needs to be lengthened, a different report may not even mention that.
An SEO tool or test does not infer that you violated a Google rule. All it’s telling you is what that particular tool you used found. And it makes recommendations.
That isn’t the same thing as knowing why Google ranks one website above another.
4. Not All SEO Errors Are Created Equal
Some of the issues the SEO checker finds are easy fixes but may not be necessary to change. But if Google can’t access an important service page, that’s something you want to correct. That’s a problem worth fixing.
You should still review every error the SEO tool finds. It isn’t set up to discern which ones are more important than others.
As a business owner you don’t want to spend all day fixing them all. Focus on the more important, major issues. Those are the problems more likely to affect how your website performs in the search results.
5. Some SEO Problems Really Do Need Your Attention
Some technical problems really are major red flags.
Google needs to access your website to index important pages. If it can’t, that’s a problem. You should also look for important pages missing information or parts of your website that accidentally block Google.
You should also make sure visitors can easily find and use the important parts of your website. Check for things like slow loading times, and problems using your website on a cellphone.
Periodically, check your website as if you were a potential customer, and be sure you can navigate through it easily with all areas functioning properly.
6. Don’t Start With the Number of Errors
That isn’t the same thing as knowing why Google ranks one website above another.
Can Google find and index your important pages? If it can’t, then this is an important fix.
Are any of the technical problems affecting customers’ ability to view your important website content?
Go through your website and fix those problems.
When a potential customer visits your website, can they quickly see the services you provide and areas you serve? Can they easily find your hours and contact information?
Be sure all that information is easy to locate.
And lastly, is your website content useful?
Check whether your articles and other information answer the questions customers usually have about your services.
Once you’ve taken care of the most important issues, then you can breeze through the minor problems.
7. A Perfect SEO Score Doesn’t Guarantee Good Rankings
Even though you’ve changed the technical errors the SEO report found, you still may not rank above your competitor.
Next in line is checking your service pages. Do they answer the questions customers have? Is your content useful? Is it relevant to the customers you are targeting?
8. Fix the Problems That Matter First
Take care of the most important items and then take care of the rest. You don’t need to spend energy worrying about results from an SEO test report. Instead, use that time to fix problems that affect Google’s access to your website or make the site harder for customers to use.

How to test the SEO of a website?
Is there a way to test the SEO of websites without having to wait days or longer to see if they pop up in online searches? I recall there being some websites where I could put in the URL of a website to see how search engine friendly it is?
My thoughts: There are so many SEO test available online. I would use that to my advantage by doing at least 3 tests.
I would skip any test that requires my to give the information.
After the test is done download it and then upload it to an AI. Ask the AI to give you a summary of the results and let you know which actions you need to take (by importance).
